Services

At this time our services are rather limited. Our
intention to provide a stud service and puppies is
based on our desire to create a line of bassets
hounds for us and others to show. Quality, based on
the AKC Standard for basset hounds is our guide. It is
not a money making operation. Our information and
advice is freely given.

We do not currently have an AKC Champion to offer
for stud service. Moose, our only adult male, is now
retired after producing three beautiful girls for us. He's
as happy as ever, enjoying a life of leisure. When we
do have a stud available we will breed him only to
approved bitches from championship bloodlines.

There may be puppies available this year for both
show homes and for pets. Only time will tell. We have
kept three of Bonnie's puppies to show and sold two
to pet homes. If you are interested in purchasing a

At any time please feel free to contact us about basset
hounds and owning them. We have a lot of
experience, both good and bad, and are always willing
to share with others. If we can't answer your
questions, we have friends and other resources that
can help as well. Some excellent resources are listed
on our "Contact/Links" page. Many of the sites we
have links to have a wide variety of information about
basset hounds. Before you consider owning a basset
hound we would highly recommend that you consult
these sites as well as any books on the breed. You'll
find out why many feel that they are owned by their
basset hound instead of them owning one. Remember
the dog you purchase or rescue will be a member of
your family for many years.

Our purpose for breeding basset hounds is to
maintain and improve our line of bassets. We want
the best quality bassets for our home and will do all
we can to breed them. The litters we have are bred
for this purpose, not to sell to pet homes.

Occasionally we may have some puppies for sale to
pet homes. All our breeding stock are either AKC
Champions or they come from AKC Champions. With
this as our purpose, we do offer the following
